ALTARIA has been working hard during the last three months, recording 12 brand new tunes. The recording of the fourth album has now been finished, and the yet untitled album will be mixed by Esa Orjatsalo at Sevik Audio. “The new material is the meanest and rawest ALTARIA so far, as we decided to let the guitars do the talking while NO keyboards whatsoever will be heard on the album.”, reveals drummer Tony S. Recordings will take place at several different locations during the coming three months and 12 brand new tracks will be recorded. The mixing and mastering will be taken care of by Esa Orjatsalo at Sevik Audio in March 2009. A release date for the still untitled album has not yet been decided but it will definately hit the streets in 2009. Drummer Tony S comments: “We wrote a lot of songs and chose twelve to be recorded. The new stuff has been written very much as a team this time and every member has contributed to the songwriting. I’ve felt that an important thing for us this time is to musically take a step forward but still keep it in the songs. So, prepare for an angry, cruchy, guitar-based album filled with the big ALTARIA-choruses!
